Trims & Top-Tier Tech

Available in LS, LT and Premier trims, the three-row Chevy crossover comes well-equipped at every level. For starters, the LS gets standard 17-inch steel wheels, automatic headlights, roof rails, 60/40-split folding second- and third-row seats, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel and Bluetooth phone connectivity.

Stepping up to the LT adds 18-inch alloys, foglights, heated mirrors, rear parking sensors, remote start, an eight-way power driver seat and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Bluetooth, voice controls, navigation and a 10-speaker Bose audio system are all standard gear as well on the LT.

Features and amenities max out on the Premier, which comes with 20-inch alloys, power-folding mirrors, leather upholstery, driver memory settings, navigation, a heated steering wheel and more.

A Powerful V6

Every 2017 Chevy Traverse in Arlington comes with a brawny V6 engine that pumps out 281 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque on the LS and LT grades. The Premier gets the same V6, but with a little more power; it produces 288 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque.

A six-speed automatic transmission is mated to the six-cylinder powerplant. Front-wheel drive is the only drivetrain configuration offered on the LS, whereas, LT and Premier models can be had with the available all-wheel-drive configuration.

You'll have no problem towing your gear with the 2017 Traverse; it can haul up to 5,200 pounds when properly equipped.

Safety Comes First

There are plenty of top-tier safety features included on the SUV, as noted by 2017 Chevy Traverse reviews. These include a plethora of airbags, antilock brakes, and stability and traction control.
