Come out to the largest Earth Day event in the world at Fair Park in Dallas from April 21-23, 2017. Celebrate Earth Day and learn more about the latest research, trends, innovations and practices that are shaping our world.
Earth Day TX is an interactive event that blends education, awareness, and a festival atmosphere with live music and sustainable beer and food pavilions.
Interactive exhibits include the Eco Expo, which showcases the environmental efforts of local and global professionals, Tree Climber’s International, where you can learn how to use ropes to climb a tree, the Go Dive Now Scuba Pool and a three-day building event from Lego.
You can also learn about our earth with such educational exhibitions like meeting animals at the Creature Teacher, exploring the flora and fauna of the Texas Discovery Garden and hearing from professors from Texas A&M University. There is also an extensive schedule of workshops, films, and addresses from professionals and experts running throughout the weekend.
This event has grown exponentially since 2011, when it started as a small outing in the Dallas Art District. Since then it has moved to Fair Park and now draws in over 130,000 attendees, features more than 700 exhibits and highlights over 250 speakers.
