The Silverado EV ZR2 Tackles The Mint 400

Chevy has established a reputation for producing some of the most capable pickup trucks around. The Silverado EV ZR2 concept recently raced in the esteemed Mint 400 off-road event. This electric race truck conquered a punishing 73-mile lap, proving its readiness for extreme terrain. Chevrolet also campaigned its gasoline-powered Silverado ZR2 and Colorado ZR2 alongside it.

Mind-Blowing Power

The Silverado EV ZR2 employs three electric motors, combining for an estimated 1,100 hp and 11,500 lb-ft of torque. Its acceleration is breathtaking, and its towing ability is unmatched. By the end of the Mint 400, the EV ZR2 retained 40 percent of its battery capacity.

Rugged Off-Road Kit

Chevrolet outfitted the Silverado EV ZR2 concept with off-road-centric gear. It features Multimatic Adaptive Spool Valve dampers offering more than 13 inches of travel, locking differentials for enhanced traction, underbody skid protection, 37-inch BF Goodrich KM3 Mud Terrain tires, and a lifted suspension for extra clearance.

2026 Silverado EV Trail Boss Is Coming

This summer, Chevrolet will unveil the Silverado EV Trail Boss. This off-road-ready variant comes factory-equipped with a lift, red tow hooks, 35-inch all-terrain tires, and a Terrain Mode, making electric off-roading possible without compromise.
