Corvette CX Concept
Created as a street-legal supercar, the Corvette CX presents an aggressive, attention-grabbing visage. Its ultra-wide stance and sculpted bodywork command notice. The most eye-catching element is the fighter-jet-like canopy that opens automatically as you approach.
Beneath the skin is an AWD electric powertrain with four motors. Chevy lists total output at an astonishing 2,000 horsepower for ferocious acceleration. The lithium-ion battery is positioned low in the chassis to help with weight distribution, and four-wheel torque vectoring improves handling dynamics. The concept also features an innovative Vacuum Fan System that channels air through open bodywork to increase downforce.
Inside, the Corvette CX greets the driver with a cockpit-focused layout and premium materials like forged carbon fiber. A digital windscreen offers real-time performance data, and many controls are integrated into the sporty steering wheel to reduce distractions.
Corvette CX.R Vision Gran Turismo Concept
The CX.R Vision Gran Turismo is a pure track car that appears in Gran Turismo 7. This mid-engine racer uses a twin-turbo V8 rated at 900 horsepower and spins to an incredible 15,000 rpm. Three electric motors add to the powertrain for a combined output of 2,000 horsepower, and renewable e-fuel ensures sustainable performance without compromise.
Because it's built for the track only, the CX.R Vision Gran Turismo features a pared-down interior to shave weight. Its heavily bolstered seats help keep occupants secure during high-speed cornering.
