It also comes with new technologies, additional interior space for second-row passengers and offers the new top-of-the-line High Country trim for buyers who like to travel in luxury.

Traverse Upgrades & Features

L, LS, LT Cloth, LT Leather, RS, Premier and High Country are the seven trims offered on the 2018 Chevy Traverse in Arlington. The High Country is the latest addition to the lineup, which comes with auto high beams, all-wheel drive with an auto-locking rear differential, adaptive cruise control, a sunroof, a power-folding third-row seats and leather upholstery. This model also comes with all the contents of the Premier trim, giving buyers more amenities.

For 2018, the Traverse gets three more inches of legroom in the second row and a larger third-row seat. Cargo space is also now 98.5 cubic feet, giving owners ample room for hauling luggage and groceries. On top of these changes, the SUV also gets a bigger 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. OnStar is available as well for those who choose to obtain a subscription.

One Sole Engine

A 3.6L V6 engine is once again outfitted on the 2018 Chevy Traverse in Arlington. Producing 310 horsepower and 266 lb.-ft. of torque, the powerplant is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission that helps the SUV produce an EPA-estimated 21 mpg combined, 18 city and 27 highway. Both four-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations are offered on select models.

What Safety Technologies Are on the Chevy Traverse?

A new Teen Driver system, which has been highlighted in several 2018 Chevy Traverse reviews, is included on the SUV. The feature allows parents to set limitations for their teen driver and also keep track of the car.
