What's New for the 2019 Chevrolet Cruze?

The 2019 Chevy Cruze has undergone several refreshes for the new model year. Starting with the exterior, the Cruze has received an updated front bumper. On the interior, the Cruze receives a 7-inch touchscreen as standard. This year, all trims of the Cruze come with an automatic transmission.

The 2019 Cruze is available as both a sedan and a hatchback. The Cruze is available in 5 trims. The entry level L trim offers the following standard features: 4-wheel antilock disc brakes, 6-speed automatic transmission, 15-inch steel wheels with bolt-on covers, 195/65R15 all-season, blackwall tires, Black beltline moldings, Daytime Running Lamps, body color door handles, 2-way manual front passenger seat, 4-speaker audio system, 4G LTE Wi-Fi® hotspot capable, Air conditioning and Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System with 7-inch diagonal color touchscreen.

The LS trim includes features in the L trim plus a Deluxe steering wheel, and Front carpeted floor mats. The LT trim includes features from the LS trim plus Remote Start, SiriusXM® Radio trial, 6-speaker audio system, power, electric rack-mounted, reduced travel steering, 16-inch aluminum wheels, bright beltline moldings, single-zone automatic climate control, and steering-wheel mounted controls. The Premier trim includes features from the LT trim plus driver and front passenger visors with illuminated mirrors, leatherette seat trim, Heated driver and front passenger seats, Keyless Start, 17-inch aluminum wheels, 225/45R17 all-season, blackwall tires, LED-accented taillamps, 4-way manual front passenger seat, 8-way power driver seat, Driver and front passenger visors with illuminated mirrors and Keyless Open. The Diesel trim includes many features of the LT. However, the Diesel includes a 1.6-liter Turbo-Diesel ECOTEC 4-cylinder engine.

2019 Chevy Cruze Exterior FrontThe L, LS, LT and Premier trim comes with a standard 1.4 liter Turbo ECOTEC 4-cylinder engine that provides up to 153 horsepower and 177 foot-pounds of torque. This powertrain is married to a Continuously Variable Valve Timing. The Diesel trim comes with a standard 1.6 liter Turbo-Diesel ECOTEC 4-cylinder engine that offers up to 137 horsepower and 240 foot-pounds of torque.
