The new Chevy Spark is available in four trim levels: LS, 1LT, 2LT, and ACTIV. The features available for each trim are improved progressively with ACTIV trim having the most features. ACTIV trim level features are based on an off-road theme and include unique wheel designs, front and rear skid plates, suspensions that increase the ride height by 0.4 inches, and a distinctive grille.

The standard SL trim allows the driver to enjoy features like a 7-inch LCD that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity, and a hands-free connectivity. To enjoy more comfort features like heated seats, keyless entry and ignition, leatherette upholstery, and alloy wheels, however, one has to purchase the higher trims. 1LT and 2LT trims, for instance, allow drivers to enjoy features like LED running headlights, the manufacturer's advanced infotainment software, and illuminated USB inputs.

The car's base engine has a horsepower capability of 98 hp. with a torque of 94 lb.-ft. Although the car's engine is known more for fuel economy versus high performance, it provides sufficient service for the specs. The car can achieve an estimated fuel economy of 30 mpg if driving in the city, a 38 mpg on the highway, and a combined fuel economy of 34 mpg*. Buyers have the option of purchasing the 1.4 L inline four-cylinder engine accompanied by either a continuously variable auto transmission (CVT) or five-speed manual transmissions.

What Are some Safety Highlights?

The 2LT trim has rear parking sensors and auto transmission as standard.
