The latest model year does not bring many changes for the Chevy Spark, which carries over relatively the same from the 2019 model year. However, that is no issue for consumers, who still find plenty to enjoy in this unique and personable compact car. The 2020 Chevy Spark comes with many standard features and add-on amenities for a precise look and design. A rainbow of 10 paint colors is available for the Spark to give it a look that's just right for you. With a total of 10 airbags, the Spark is also an exceptionally safe vehicle. Over 27 cubic feet of storage space invites you to take all your belongings along for the ride. While many features come standard on the base trim, you'll get additional luxuries such as heated leather seats and a heated steering wheel at the top trim level.
The 2020 Chevy Spark comes in four trim levels. The base trim is the LS. The lineup also includes the 1LT, 2LT, and Activ models. The LS provides the essentials with features including air conditioning, a four-speaker audio system, and a backup camera. This trim has plenty of technology with a seven-inch display screen that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Bluetooth is standard at the base trim level as well. USB connectivity helps you stay connected on the road.
The LS also gets a built-in WiFi hotspot and Chevrolet's own innovative OnStar communications system. With the 1LT, which is the second trim, you'll also get alloy wheels, cruise control, remote keyless entry, and power accessories, including power-operated door locks, mirrors, and windows. Fog lights add to the exterior appearance. This trim level also upgrades to a six-speaker sound system.
The Activ trim gets a more comfortable and luxurious cabin with the addition of leatherette seats, a leather steering wheel, heated front seats, and roof rails. The Activ gets a more rugged design with slightly higher ground clearance and a raised suspension. You can pick the Activ out from the crowd with its innovative 15-inch wheels.
The 2LT gets custom simulated-leather seats, an advanced driver information display center, heated front seats, and a push-button start for convenience. Chrome accents on the trim and door handles are another standard feature that makes the 2LT stand out from the crowd. Along with these standard amenities, the Spark is also available with add-on features, including a sunroof and more safety technology.
The same engine powers all four trim levels of the 2020 Chevy Spark. They are all equipped with a 1.4L engine that has four cylinders. This engine's power output is 98 HP and 94 LB-FT of torque. Front-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain, while you can choose to get a five-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic transmission.
The Chevy Spark also comes equipped with several safety technologies. Along with ten standard airbags, the 2020 Spark also gets forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and rear parking assist sensors. A Driver Confidence package, available on select trims, adds additional safety technologies.
