What's New For the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt?
In 2022, the Chevrolet Bolt returns with some head-turning updates, including a sleek and contemporary exterior design and the latest technology. The Bolt is still available as the original electric vehicle (EV). Still, you can now also get the Chevy Bolt EUV, which is a slightly larger variant of the original Bolt. Both vehicles operate using an electric powertrain, and they get more than 250 miles of all-electric range. The Chevy Bolt is made with two trim levels, and you can get three trims of the EUV this year. Although the Bolt EUV is a new car, it shares some common features with the Bolt EV, including wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Top-notch safety amenities are standard on both models, and you'll get several appealing options.
2022 Bolt Has Abundant Features
The Chevy Bolt EV comes in two trim levels, the 1LT and the 2LT. Standard on the Bolt this year is a 10.25-inch touchscreen interface. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. The Bolt also has smartphone pairing that allows you to make hands-free phone calls, access your apps, get directions, and more without taking your eyes off the road. A sporty steering wheel comes standard-the 2LT upgrades to leather upholstery and adds a backup camera. Heated seats are standard on the 2LT, and it also has a hands-free liftgate. A panoramic sunroof is optional for both trims. The Bolt EUV includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It has a 10.2-inch touchscreen. Wireless device charging is standard, and you'll get DC fast-charging capabilities. The second trim, the Premier, has leather seats and a rearview mirror camera. It also has a Super Cruise drive assist. The top trim, which is the Launch Edition, has signature wheels and custom badges. It includes a panoramic sunroof and an illuminated charge port.

How Much Power Does the Chevrolet Bolt Have?
The Chevy Bolt EV and EUV use the same electric motor to produce a maximum of 200 HP and 266 LB-FT in torque in both models. The Bolt EV also has a 66 kWh battery, and the Bolt EUV has a 65 kWh battery. The Bolt EV gets about 250 miles of all-electric range, while the Bolt EUV reaches nearly 260 miles of all-electric range. Bolt features one-pedal driving, where energy is captured by using the same pedal to speed up and slow down.
Chevrolet Bolt Safety at the Forefront
This model features all the necessary safety features to reduce the risk of a collision, including lane-keeping assist and automated emergency braking. The lane-departure warning also proves to be useful and offers accountability to the driver. Adaptive cruise control allows the vehicle to drive a safe distance behind other cars to avoid fender benders.
