What's New for the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox?

The 2022 Chevy Equinox has several updates for the latest year. The Chevy Equinox is now equipped with more technology than before, with the addition of wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard features. 2022 Equinox Trims & Features

Starting off the Equinox family for the 2022 model year is the L. The L has 17-inch wheels and is now equipped with heated side mirrors that have integrated LED signals. This trim level seats five and has just under 64 cubic feet in storage capacity. It has an 8-inch infotainment screen that is now configured with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless connectivity. The Equinox offers a smooth and comfortable ride, and it has a keyless entry system for easy hands-free access. The LS, which is the next trim, gets more amenities, including LED daytime running lights. It also has a long list of available colors for the interior and paint colors on the outside. The LT trim, which is third, can be equipped with heated front seats and a hands-free liftgate. The driver's seat is upgraded in this trim to include more lumbar support. The driver's seat is also power-operated. Completing the Equinox lineup is the Premier trim, which gets a color diagonal infotainment system that includes navigation.

2022 Chevrolet Equinox Horsepower

Power and performance are the same for all trim levels of the Chevrolet Equinox in 2022. All four trims have a six-speed automatic transmission. They all have a maximum towing capacity of 1,500 pounds. The Chevy's standard drivetrain is front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is an alternative option for the top three trim levels. The Chevy's engine generates 170 HP at 5,600 RPM and 203 LB-FT in torque up to 4,000 RPM.
