There is also a change in power for the Trax, which now comes with a stronger base engine to provide all trims with greater power. 2022 Trax Trims & Features

The base trim of the 2022 Chevy Trax is called the LS. The top trim level is now the LT. The LS comes with many standard amenities. The LS also has a variety of standard components, and it also inherits some of the previously standard features from the top Premier trim level. Starting with the base trim level, you will find that the LS has a comfortable cabin and an impressive list of technology features. The LS has Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth. WiFi is included with this model as well, and you can access music, apps, directions, and more through the standard seven-inch touchscreen interface. Aside from the technology that it provides, the 2022 Chevy Trax also has a split-folding rear seat for convenience. Moving up to the LT means you'll get even more amenities. The seats are upgraded in the LT to be even softer and more comfortable. Cruise control is added for convenience, and the exterior has some enhancements with roof rails and LED running lights. The LT also has heated side mirrors. Some additional features are optional for the LT, including a power-operated driver's seat, more safety aids, keyless entry, and keyless ignition. You can also get upgraded seats made of faux leather, also heated.

2022 Chevrolet Trax Horsepower

This year, the Chevy Trax is powered by a turbo four-cylinder engine with a 1.4L capacity. The Trax can get up to 155 HP in power with the new engine, increasing it from the maximum of 138 HP that it previously had. The Trax comes with a standard front-wheel drive, but you can change it to all-wheel drive if you want more traction.

Both models of the Chevy Trax come with a rearview camera, along with 10 airbags and seat belts. Cruise control is standard on the LT, and you can order blind-spot monitoring separately.
