Changes on the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Chevy Silverado owners get to take advantage of "the best" every single day. The truck not only offers a best-in-class max tow rating of 12,500 pounds, but also segment-best V8 fuel economy and horsepower.*

For the 2018 model year, the award-winning full-size pickup receives enhancements that make it an even smarter choice. A backup camera is now standard on all models, and the entry-level WT trim gains a standard MyLink 7-inch radio system. In addition, the tire pressure monitor now includes tire fill alert, and Silverado LTZ models can be had with an eAssist package for the first time. The truck's chiseled exterior is also complemented by two attractive new paint colors: Cajun Red Metallic and Havana Metallic. Continue our 2018 Chevy Silverado review below for more details.

Chevy Silverado Cab Options, Packages & Trims

For starters, six trim levels are available: Silverado WT, LS, Custom, LT, LTZ and High Country. Then, depending on the selected trim, there's a choice of one or more body styles: Regular Cab, Double Cab and Crew Cab. To top this off, many trims can be had with additional packages that add on performance and/or appearance extras, such as the Texas Edition, Z71 Package, Redline Edition and High Desert Package.
