2019 Chevy Bolt Model Review

What's New for the 2019 Chevy Bolt?

The Chevy Bolt might be a small car, but it's one with a big personality and lots to offer. The latest Bolt impresses critics (and drivers) with its tremendous range of nearly 240 miles. While the electric power capacity of the Chevy Bolt makes it stand out in the area of fuel technology, its interior is just as modern and innovative. Inside, you'll find the latest in creature comforts and technology with a user-friendly infotainment display and plenty of features. The Bolt comes standard with a 10.2-inch touchscreen, which is about the largest size screen that you'll find in any vehicle, and it certainly sets the Bolt apart from others in its class. In addition to all that it offers inside and under the hood, the Bolt also stands out for its safety features, which collectively earn it a five-star NHTSA safety rating.

Which Trims & Features are Available for 2019?

There are two trim levels offered in the 2019 Bolt, which are the LT and the Premier. The LT comes standard with a deluxe steering wheel, a six-speaker sound system, and both a driver's seat and a front passenger's seat that move in six ways. The LT also comes standard with an eight-inch color display screen that shows the car's performance statistics, including its battery status, speed, and range. The Bolt comes with a body-colored antenna, an air conditioning system with a cabin air filter, and chrome interior door handles. Its leather-wrapped shift knob adds a touch of class to the cabin, while its keyless entry system comes in handy when you have your hands full.

The base model also has a number of standard safety features such as an engine immobilizer, head restraints, and child safety locks. The Premier adds even more with a standard leather-wrapped steering wheel that is also heated. While you get the same standard sound system, a premium Bose audio system is optional. Heated front seats are also standard in the Premier. The Premier also has heated outboard seats in the rear. Ambient interior lighting makes it easier to see in the dark and gives the interior a luxurious feel. There are also more standard driver-assist safety features on this trim.
